Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven IT Staffing Account Executive to help grow and manage client partnerships across the technology staffing and recruiting. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, opening new accounts, understanding client hiring needs, and partnering with recruiting teams to deliver high-quality talent solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience, a consultative approach, and the drive to grow revenue through new business development, account expansion, and long-term client relationships. Experience in staffing, recruiting, technology services, IT consulting, or professional services sales is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients
  • Build relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, procurement teams, and technology decision-makers
  • Sell IT staffing solutions, including contract staffing, contract-to-hire, direct hire, and project-based talent solutions
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and discovery to proposal, negotiation, close, and account growth
  • Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person client meetings to understand hiring needs, workforce challenges, and long-term talent strategies
  • Partner closely with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure a strong client and candidate experience
  • Qualify client requirements and communicate clear job orders, priorities, timelines, and expectations to the recruiting team
  • Coordinate interview activity, candidate feedback, offers, onboarding, consultant check-ins, and ongoing client communication
  • Map client organizations to identify key decision-makers and expand relationships across departments, business units, and technology teams
  • Grow existing accounts by increasing service penetration and identifying additional hiring needs
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, client, and account information in CRM and ATS systems
  • Track sales activity, revenue progress, client meetings, job orders, and pipeline development

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT staffing, recruiting, technology services, consulting, or professional services
  • Proven success generating new business, opening new accounts, and growing client relationships
  • Experience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise clients is preferred
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales, client discovery, pipeline management, and revenue growth
  • Ability to build credibility with hiring managers, HR leaders, and technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience using CRM, ATS, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools
  • Self-motivated, competitive, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple client priorities
